This book is messed up and dark but I couldn’t stop reading it!
This story is pretty intense. Many things made me uncomfortable but it was so good!
The “Prophet” is such a sick, evil bastard. He is the leader of a cult that disguises itself as a religion. So many horrible things happen inside The Cloister but people still follow him like lambs.
Adam is the “Prophets” son. He’s possessive, alpha and in a sense a rebel. I really liked him and I hope we get to learn more about him in the next book. He’s a pretty mysterious character that intrigues me.
Delilah is so strong. She’s looking for answers and that’s why she enters The Cloister willingly. She goes through a lot but its determined to find the truth. I really enjoyed her relationship with Adam and I can’t wait to read more about them.
Overall this was a great contemporary, dark read. I can’t wait to read book 2!
